2011, F.U. ka! 2012, be good ha! :P

2011 was such a rollercoaster ride for me (gasgas na linya every new year). Nandiyan yung happy moments, then eventually magiging sad, scary, at kung ano-ano pa. 2011 will not be forgotten sa happy and new memories na naexperience. 2011 will be forgotten sa lahat ng bad vibes na naranasan ko, plus the moving on process with it.

Looking forward sa goodvibes na dala ng 2012 for me, for all of us, for all the people in the world. Basta sa pagpasok ng AWESOMEST year, 2012, GOODVIBES tayong lahat! :))

Invoke the holiday cheer and relish the chance to inspire children from Virlanie Foundation, Inc. by showing them what it is to be young, wild and free in an environment where learning through exploring is for everyone!

The fun exploration and re-discovering of the world through children’s eyes will be on DECEMBER 27, 2011 9:30AM at the MANILA ZOO! Volunteers have to pay a P100 registration fee which is already inclusive of:

volunteer’s entrance fee

volunteer’s child partner’s entrance fee

volunteer’s food

child partner’s food

child partner’s I’M shirt

Volunteers also have to bring a gift (unisex) that won’t go below the amount of 50pesos! The children will have an exchange gift activity and all the volunteers have to provide the gift for their child partners.

I’M red’s shirt will be the official shirt for this celebration! But if you don’t want to avail of the shirt, it’s okay! :) Just wear something red on the day of the celebration.

MOTHER ROBIN LIM, 2011 CNN HERO OF THE YEAR

Robin Lim, an Filipino-American woman who has helped thousands of poor Indonesian women have a healthy pregnancy and birth, was named the 2011 CNN Hero of the Year on Sunday night.

Through her Yayasan Bumi Sehat health clinics, “Mother Robin,” or “Ibu Robin” as she is called by the locals, offers free prenatal care, birthing services and medical aid in Indonesia, where many families cannot afford care.

“Every baby’s first breath on Earth could be one of peace and love. Every mother should be healthy and strong. Every birth could be safe and loving. But our world is not there yet,” Lim said during “CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute,” which took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and recognized Lim and the other top 10 CNN Heroes of 2011.

Last night, may tumawag sa bahay, prank caller ata pero bata, o sadyang malakas mangtrip at mang-joke. Pero this made my night, after ko magbuhat ng sandamukal na gamit sa kitchen, nawala sa kanila ang pagod ko.
FIRST CALL
Me: Hello
Bata: Sino ka?
Me: Sino ka din? Bat ka tumatawag?
Bata: Wala lang!
Then binaba niya yung phone.
SECOND CALL
Bata: Sino ka po ba?
Me: AKO ANG IYONG KONSENSIYA!
Bata: Sino po?
Me: AKO ANG IYONG KONSENSIYA!
Then binaba niya ulit.
LAST CALL
Me: Hello? Sino to?
Bata: Hello po, pwede po ba kay KONSENSIYA?
Me: (paused ng ilang seconds) uhm.... ahm...
Then binaba na niya.
Natawa ako sa pagiging patola much nung bata, pero I must say na naaliw ako to the extent na tawa kami ng tawa ni mom after nung call niya. : ))
